Today the Municipality of Ocongate signed the agreement with Pachamama Raymi to co-finance the Pachamama Raymi program of the Millennium Champ Jan Oleksy. This makes it possible to expand the communities Jan is supporting, from 2 to a total of five communities. The program of Jan Oleksy started in Marampaqui and Chaupimayo, and will now also include the communities of Pucarumi, Andamayo and Rodeana (all in the District of Ocongate). The total number of families benefitting from the support of Jan Oleksy is now 455 (or about 2,300 persons).
