What are the principal complaints from the community about the health services?: The main complaint by the community is that they receive poor treatment from the health professionals.

What do the people in the community eat?: The people in Pucarumi eat the following:
Vegetables – potato (several different types), lettuce, carrot, cabbage (which they buy at the market);
Meat - alpaca and cattel ( It is relevant to note that the majority of the inhabitants Pucarumi produce their own meat. At the same time the production of meat varies in relation to the rainy season. Also on average, the inhabitants usually eat meat twice a weak.);
Fruit – oranges, bananas, and other fruits are sold at the market;
Miscellaneous – eggs, rice, noodles, cheese, yogurt and milk.
How many families have fruit and vegetable gardens?: 10 families have fruit and vegetable gardens (They are greenhouses, due to the cold weather).

What are the main complaints about education services?: There is no control over the teachers. They come and go as they please. Also, the quality of education is poor.

How, or from what do the people in the community make/earn money?: The main source of income in the community is generated by men working for Plan Meriss in the construction of an irrigation canal and tourism. Also, earn money from selling their livestock (mainly alpaca and sheep).
How do the majority of men earn money?: The main source of income for the men comes from working for Plan Meriss, tourism, selling their livestock, and selling the produce from their fields.
What else do they do to earn money?: The majority of men in the community contribute the majority of time working in their fields.
How do the majority of women earn money?: Many women work as animal herders. Also, there are women that earn money from their art products (cloth weaving).
What else do they?: The women also dedicate themselves to domestic chores (cooking, cleaning, etc.). Also, from time to time the women help their husbands in the field.
Is there a market in the community? How often?: No. NA.
What are the principal products that are sold in the market?: NA.
Where do the inhabitants/people from the community take their products to sell outside of the community?: The population of the district community of Pucarumi goes to Tinke to sell their products, which has a market every Sunday.
What are the principal products the villagers sell there?: The main products sold by the community in Tinke are handicrafts and clothing, livestock (alpaca, cattle, and sheep), cheese, milk, and wool.
What other economic activities are there in the community (community, artisanry, mining, lumber, etc.)?: Many of the men are currently working for Plan Meriss, which is building an irrigation canal in many of the communities in Ocongate. Also, the community produces art crafts (clothing), but it is mainly for personal use.
Approximately, how many weeks (or months) per year do men work outside the community?: Approximately, the men spend about 3 months during the year outside of the community from May to September in order to make ends meet. They usually go to Puerto Maldonado, where there is a rather large mining industry.
What are the principal problems for the community to (in order) to sell their products?: According to the community, the principal problem in selling their products is that there is a monopoly and control of prices from the buyers, and many times they will try to cheat the villagers.
What are the best opportunities for the business (commerce) of the products of the community?: The best opportunities for the products of the community would be to improve the quality of their products, such as their alpaca. Also, it would be helpful for the community to find a market that is more sure and stable (due to the volatility of prices).
What institutions work in the community?: The institutions present in the community are Plan Meriss, the Municipality, Heifer Peru.
